ABOUT

“I have worked as a psychiatrist for the past forty years in the San Francisco Bay area. Ten years ago, I began taking pictures, became fascinated by the possibilities of photography, taught myself, and now rarely go anywhere without a camera. I was inspired by street photography which fit with my enjoyment of wandering urban environments. Although most of my work is taken in the public arena, any candid, spontaneous scene in my personal life might be included under my looser definition of street photography. I am most interested in finding complex, colorful images that transcend the documentary specifics of the moment and hopefully evoke stories in the minds of my viewers. My work can be found in several street photography publications. I was the winner of two international photography competitions and have participated in several photography shows in the UK, Europe, and the United States.”
